The same way you make a video at 29.97 or 23.976...just more frames. I tried making a 60 fps progressive video one time for the hell of it. Played back just fine but the cuts were too fast to really follow with my eyes. Plus putting down 60 frames to get a second of video done was super annoying.
Life's short.

... heh...

can I assume you saw my last thread?... [i posted a link to the exact same video  ]

...anyways, it probably depends on your export program. I'm using Magix MEP10, and I know that the frame-rate is just a property you can set. The key thing is that the clips must be sped up at least 2.5x. This ensures that every frame in a given second is unique. [24pfs x 2.5 = 60fps]. Not sure if it is as simple with other programs :?

In case you are interested, I plan to export my next video at 59.94fps...
...so keep an eye out for it...
maybe I'll send you a beta or something......

Doesn't make sense to export at 60fps, since NTSC is 29.97 and most of your source would be NTSC or PAL

What I'm wondering is, what's the point? The file will end up bigger, but I'm not sure it will look better.

Or am I missing something?

The only way you can make 60 fps or higher pay off right now is if you make orignal graphics and compositions rather then just a straight cut video or a noobish fx video.

Its possible for 60fps to help a video that uses plain editing as well. I shall demonstrate this wonderfully with my next AMV :p

And here I convinced myself this was my idea [damn... other people thought of it too *shakes fist*]

... hmm... I should finish my project and beat you to it...
although I suppose it wouldn't be the first 60fps vid [said video-- are there any others?]
