upgrade to final cut

I was working on my latest amv when it hit me, i think sony vegas 7 dosen't have as many features now, so i run down and look at my friends computer and he has final cut on his apple(he got it from the school) and it blows vegas away

is there any program like that on windows or should i just buy an apple

Adobe premiere Pro, I think they're practically Identical.

Vegas is a very powerful program. I highly doubt that it limits you in AMV-making, you're probably only inept to use it right. So what should change if you're using APP instead?

Theres Adobe Premiere Pro 1.x and 2.0 , 2.0 probably costs more due to more features and improvements etc.

If you want my advice stick with sony vegas, as a whole it's much more stable and it's exporting feature is a lot better than premieres speaking from experience. You don't need fancy effects to make a good amv, and I think thats what a lot of people here will tell you which I've come to believe too. I find vegas a lot more resource friendly and has never crashed once while Premiere gives me a headache from the constant small, but solvable problems when I was editing a project for college.

perhaps but from what i hear vegas has more built in effects than premeire...

Vegas can do alot of the things After Effects can do (in terms of masking and whatnot) but AE is better at it from what i know...

but as far as effects go... seriously the effects you can make are only limited by your own mind... some of the best effects in videos on this site were created by the person and not a drop in effect from some program

Euphoria for example was made with Magix and MS Paint
