I know this is a little off topic, but for all you would be indie film peoples, this is huge and long awaited news. I really have to wonder what TRYING to editing 4k is like :3

Oshi!
Uhh.. how is that low res? You either have no clue how digital camera's work or are comparing it to digital Photo camera's. As you have to realize this thing records digital and not analog like film. This thing is the closest thing to full film without actually being film.Keeper of Hellfire wrote:May be a kinda stupid question: What does 4K mean? 4K Pixel would be a bit low res, so what does it stand for?
- Frame Rate Supported Resolution

1 – 120 fps 2K, 720p (windowed sensor)
50 / 59.94fps 1080i, 720p

Sorry, but your post doesn't explain anything. Combining it with frame rates and HD-resolutions doesn't tell me more. I know it's digital - analogue wouldn't even have pixel. And why shouldn't I compare with photo cameras? Btw, I don't. If I check the specs for camcorder, even the most SD-models have a resolution of 800K pixel, that's 200 times as much as 4K pixel, so it would be a very low resolution. That's why I ask what it stands for.
