playing downloaded videos

Post by TakeshiSmallball » Sat Jan 05, 2008 12:22 am

When I download videos and try to play them on windows media player sometimes I get an error message saying WMP may not support the codec used to compress the file. Does anyone know what codec I need to download to play these videos?

best option would be to get VLC media player, it plays just about everything you'll download from the org.

The source should be immaterial. VLC, plus the CCCP, should cover almost anything.
