well, most downloaded stuff usually will not play on 97% of the DVD Players of today.
.. Converting your file to Mpeg-2 ( .VOB ) is not that hard to do.
.. .. umm .. you do know how to convert the files to a playable DVD format .. right?
Having said THAT, Nero 6 is free .. it comes with any Dual Layer DVD Burner. $24.95
.. if there were any errors with Burning DVD's, remember this "A DVD Is Not A CD" .. multi-session DVD's screw-up very-very-easily.
we at this org do not advise that you do what your about to do, but it can be done

DivX DVD players aren't all created equal. They rely on internal decoders for playback. Now, older ones and poorly designed ones can support different DivX standards than the better ones.
If you haven't already, try to burn the videos to the DVD using a "Data Disc" setting in Nero or another burning problem. If those don't work, you're going to have to transcode to a different version of DivX. It's really hit or miss.

That would be an MPEG2 variant that your burning software should be able to transcode to automatically when you burn something in as a "video DVD" or whatever your software calls it.dbz0gohan0dbz wrote:ok, do you think anyone of you could give me the best format compatible for a DVD?
