Audio track not playing

I'm in the process of making an AMV in Adobe Premier Pro 7.0, and this is not my first AMV. However, I imported an mp3 and it won't play. There's no squiggles in the audio track, and there's just silence.

When I play the audio on winamp or iTunes, it plays fine, but says it's 20 minutes long (Though only plays for it's length of over 2 minutes), so I guess it's corrupted?

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

best thing is to convert the mp3 into a wav. That can help
