getting rid of credits
If there's no way to get ahold of a clean version of an anime opening or closing, how can you get rid of the credits on the screen? I heard of a filter or something called Logo-X. Can you use that?

Does depend on what region 2 you mean. If you are talking about Japanese DVDs, then I don't know... with region 2 I'm referring to european releases (italian ones in my case).BasharOfTheAges wrote:Well, none of the 20+ ones i've worked with did.mirkosp wrote:I'd point out that Region 2 DVDs do have creditless opening/ending sequences as extra most of the time too.BasharOfTheAges wrote:fixed.DeinReich wrote:Much of the time, the REGION 1 DVD special features will have a clean version of the credits.
@ Jenkya: About game anime... are you talking about visual novels, by any chance? o.O
If that's the case, yeah, there prolly is no creditless version. Either crop or paint over the credits frame by frame as katie suggested.

Though I've also heard of the Japanese R2 releases waiting and putting things like the clean OP/ED on the last DVD of a show...LantisEscudo wrote:Japanese R2 do frequently offer creditless OP/EDs, usually on the first DVD they appear, or sometimes as a separate promotional DVD. I've got a couple of each type of series.
