makeavis - files appear as "media offline"

Post by Kevmaster » Fri Sep 12, 2008 1:14 pm

Title sums it up. I create my fake avis with makeavis.exe and when I import them into Vegas, they appear as "media offline", I don't have the slighest clue what the problem may be...Any Ideas or Methods to solve my problem?

Oh, THIS is what I get when I try adding the created avi into vdubmod.

Code: Select all

mpeg2source("F:\Videos\DVD's\Elfen Lied\ELFEN LIED vol1.d2v")
ConvertToYV12()
AssumeFPS(29.97)
ssxsharpen()
crop(4,4,-4,-4)
lanczos4resize(848,480)
fastlinedarken(strength=30)

Well I doubt its the problem, but ssxsharpen is slow as hell, and you probably wont be able to edit while that line is in there.

I would also suggest adding <b>ConvertToRGB32()</b> at the end.

If neither of those helps, what makeAVIs settings are you using?

I'm editing with mvjpg's and then I use the bait n' switch method and replace am with the fake avis, so that's no issue.

Didn't work :(

I tried both, "store script file name in output file" & "store script in output file", but neither of them works.

Will the script <i>itself</i> play correctly in VirtualDubMod?
