I've had trouble with the video files I use in virtualdubmod skipping very badly. These files were are dvd rips, but are .vob files. Should I try converting them into something else? And if yes, what converting software would you guys recommend?
I know I've been a total idiot at starting out with this whole virutaldubmod thing, (this is my third post I think), but I really am completely lost ):
different video types used in virtualdubmod?

That's EXACTLY what it does. I'm not too sure what you mean by camera angels though :< Orrr what IFO is.JaddziaDax wrote:do you mean that the files will play part of the video then skip back and play it again, then go on to the next part and do the same thing?
if so that sounds like camera angles and you are going to have to re-rip the dvd this time in IFO mode and choose a camera angle.

in DVD decryptor go to "mode" and choose "IFO" then on the right choose a camera angle..
its just a matter of how the DVDs are encoded, most Funimation DVDs use camera angles, one angle is usually the Japanese version and the other is the English version...
IFO mode will rip only one camera angle, instead of both.
