Can't seem to find a working link for the codec. Anyone willing to help me out?

Re: MidVid JPEG
Just use the MJPEG encoder/decoder in ffdshow. It's in the VFW interface, which you can select as a codec in VirtualDub's compression dialog (ffdshow can actually encode to a lot of different formats through VirtualDub, you'll need to select MJPEG from the drop-down on the 'Encoder' tab when ffdshow's VFW configuration page comes up). If you don't have the VFW interface installed, then make sure to enable it when you reinstall/update ffdshow. The same encoding core is there in ffmpeg, mencoder, AviDemux, and maybe even VLC, if VLC gives you access to libavcodec's options in its transcoder, so any of those could substitute as well.

This is the second time you open a thread for it.
I'd suggest ffdshow like qyot, but for the sake of fullfilling the request, here you go.

Yeah...I know. Sorry, I somehow never find the old threads anymore and google doesn't help me either -_-;
fddshow always fucks up on my pc...got me more problems in the past than it helped me.
Anyway...Thank you!

Actually, once you run the exe, I think the dll get automatically copied into system32 or somewhere alike and registered.

Re: MidVid JPEG
Mmmh... no clue about that. I don't even use Vegas so yeah... but as long as the codec shows up in virtualdub, it means it's been properly installed and that it's less about the codec and more about Vegas itself.

Re: MidVid JPEG
I just noticed, that when I try to open Virtual Dub Mod, it gives me the error I had with Vegas (http://www.animemusicvideos.org/forum/v ... 49&t=98533)
It won't get fixed when I re-install AMVApp and it also gives me that error when I try to install the vdubmod from the vdub website.

Re: MidVid JPEG
Get rid of vdubmod and use the latest plain virtualdub instead. Mod is really outdated and there's a huge bugfix and improvement list from the version mod was based on compared to latest vdub.
That said, I'm keen to say that the issue isn't with this specific codec but probably with something else. I can't figure what that something else might be, though...
