i just finished an amv and few beta testers to point out anything wrong would be great. such as awkward segments, bad scene choices, syncing, etc.
file; download
there's a few blatant mistakes i made such as the last scene (and the scenes visible via opacity.)
any advice or suggestions would help.
also; i need help with rendering settings (i'm using vegas). the only thing i really know is to render it as an uncompressed .avi, and rendering quality at "best". i'm assuming the audio format should be PCM uncompressed. i might be incorrect even, i'm not too sure. i just wanna' make sure i don't ruin the quality even though it could simply be rerendered.
oh, and if anyone could make a banner of this for an announcement thread, it'd be greatly appreciated. i lack ps skills. u_u

Betas go in Opinion Exchange, usually.
Getting.
First minute was fairly boring. Too static, not enough change on beat. After that it sped up and I liked some of your editing.
I am heavily biased against the source. I hate elfin lied because I find it terribly hard to watch. I'm not a fan of large amounts of violence. Even if you were to get a flow that I would like, I would still not willingly watch this. Certainly not more than once.

yeah, i probably should've split this up into more than one thread, it fits a few sections. x:
thanks for the opinion. yeah, i had trouble finding opportunities to sync the first minute or so, pretty much relied on lyric sync for that. i guess i'm just a lot better at syncing to quicker paces.
i never really liked a lot violence in anime, either. but i enjoyed elfen lied. it's not all mindless violence as it may appear.
anyway, i'll work on touching up the beginning tomorrow.

I've seen Elfin Lied. I saw it when it was new. Storywise, the violence isn't "senseless," but it's too much for me.
I watch most popular anime. Even if I hate most of it.
