.mp4 to .avi / .wmv

I tried the same thing. Do you have to type the path to the particular video you are trying to edit? If so then do i put the name of the vid with the .mp4 at the end? I tried what y'all said and i got a syntax error.

Nevermind! I got it too work. I was right about the file path. Sorry for the unnecessary post! They really need to make a guide for us extreme retards. So much of the terminology and stuff goes over my mind. Even the guide that is always cited is too complex for me at points, :<.
