Zarx264 settings help

Hey everyone umm yea i need help with zar cause im new to this whole compression thing so i have no idea wat the settings mean also
when i tried compressing it either the timings of mai vid is fine and the quality is bad, the timings bad and the quality is good or both -.-"
So can anyone help me with wat settings i should use to get a small file sized vid with great quality and the timing not messed up

For highest quality, try Constant quality at a value of 16.

It explains all the settings, though its slightly out of date with the most recent version.
I would recommend you make sure you get the most recent version though (its linked from that page)

The only setting you really might want to mess with is the quantizer. I found the default value good for most cases, but you can lower it to get better quality but a larger filesize. I think setting it as low as 16 might be overkill though.
