MPEG-4 (.mp4) Converters?
Does anyone know any good freeware MPEG-4 (.mp4) converters that can change them to something such as AVI, WMV, or a lower MPEG?
Thanks alot.

I hope that this is for playing on a portable device or a older, slower computer. Because MP4 to your typical Xvid (or Divx) AVI/WMV (non WMV9)/MPEG1 is gonna rape the video quality.
For AMV editing use (which isn't recommended--fansubs = bad), the better way would be load into VitualDub/Mod via AviSynth with DirectShowSource(). Add filters if necessary. Then output in Huffyuv, Lagarith, or Uncompressed AVI.

If by MP4 you mean H.264 content in MP4, then the previously-given advice (AviSynth+DirectShowSource) is just about the only thing that can be done easily. If it's MPEG-4 Part 2 (i.e. DivX or XviD), then just use YAMB or MP4Box to extract it to an AVI. That'll work in most cases, and if it doesn't, it should be possible to run it through MKVToolNix and then extract it as an AVI with MKVExtract.
