Well, I personally don't have QuickTime Pro, so I'll have to find a friend with it, or purchase it myself :P. Sounds like the easiest option, though.
Thanks for all the suggestions, though~.

Ohhhh Right... It's QTPro only. Well, I easily got my copy from 'The Special Store' if you know what I mean.VegettoEX wrote:Well, I personally don't have QuickTime Pro, so I'll have to find a friend with it, or purchase it myself . Sounds like the easiest option, though.
ALSO. There's a FREE QuickTime plug in for Tmpgenc, it'll open any QT file (Though it can't read the frame rate and assumes it's 60fps) just set it to 24fps and fire it out using Tmpgencs AVI export function. Really though, these are the most idiot proof and less annoying methods.
QT Pro can export almost any file, unless the file has had some protection added to it, I've only seen a few trailers online that had that. This AMV shouldn't.

Well, if you'd have read this thread, he needs it to make a DVD.NicholasDWolfwood wrote:Izumi...why the fuck would somebody re-encode the video in an mp4 when it's usually XviD and lossy already?
In my case I transcode Quick Time trailers to HufYUV then open them in Adobe Audition so I can work easily with my anime trailers, looking at each instance in the video and seeing when it happens in the time index. Maybe you're just clueless, but searching backwards and forwards, frame by frame in an Mpeg-4 file of any kind isn't a good idea.

Well, if you'd have read this thread, he needs it for a con. He probably runs the AMV panel at the con, therefore he only needs a PC to play it. Therefore he doesn't need to burn to a DVD.DJ_Izumi wrote:Well, if you'd have read this thread, he needs it to make a DVD.NicholasDWolfwood wrote:Izumi...why the fuck would somebody re-encode the video in an mp4 when it's usually XviD and lossy already?

Umm... converting it over to HuffyUV ain't gonna lose anything... I need everything in a standard MPEG-2 to play back via the Hollywood card.NicholasDWolfwood wrote:Izumi...why the fuck would somebody re-encode the video in an mp4 when it's usually XviD and lossy already?
