quicktime files to asf

I'm setting up a streaming server and I need a program that will convert quicktime files to the asf streaming format.

It can be a paid program, but I would prefer it to be multi-platform(for both windows and mac) but if it isn't, That's okay... But I'd much rather it be multiplatform since it's going on both macs and Windows PCs.

I know of Sorenson Squeeze, but I'm unsure which programs are the best quality-to-price ratio.

And of course, as per usual, there's always that rare occurance when a free program does better than those other ones.

Only problem here is that this program is going ot be used in a business, so if there's any liscencing issues, I'm not really educated in that, so could you let me know(especially with free programs)? Wouldn't want the software police coming after me. I've heard horror stories of MASSIVE fines. >_> ;_;

Well I don't know if this is will work for your taste as I use this before you have to pay for it to get the whole package of Elecard Converter Studio 1.0 and this ONE also check this. I'm pretty sure you can find one of your taste on the link I gave you, I guess

though I use before Elecard and I stop it since it eats alot of CPU of my laptop.
