Ogm to .avi

Post by Mormaso » Wed May 16, 2007 6:41 pm

I want to keep the subs and jap audio
When I use vdubmod I can mess with the streams and keep the jap. audio but the subs don't come up at all

Step by step or a tip please?

Thanks!

The AVI format doesn't support subtitle streams. You can hardcode them into the video, but that requires a plugin such as DirectVobSub.

I know it's possible to do with GraphEdit, because I've done it before for burning videos to VCD. It's just a pain.

if you are eliminating the streams and want to just leave it as a softsub then just save it as .ogm instead of .avi in vdubmod and the sub should still show up.
