Convert FAT32 to NTFS

I went to my command prompt and input
convert f: /fs:ntfs, and this is what I get.
"Access Denied as you do not have sufficent privelages
You have to invoke this utility running in elevated mode"
I also tried
convert f:/fs:ntfs(Just incase)

Why go through command prompt? Just right click the drive in My Computer and click Format. =\
(Note that sometimes it won't play nice unless you enable Quick Format.)

I pressed format but nothing happened. Is anything supposed to happen? I figured I'd get some options like to make it a NTFS.
