Blu-Ray player or external drive?
Well, I want to work with Bluray disks but I don't want to go through the hassle of converting every movie I buy for playback on my TV. So, my question is, if I have a bluray player with a USB port, could I just use that both as an external drive and a player I hook up to my TV? Or will I have to buy a seperate external bluray reader/burner so that I can rip to my computer? Thanks.

Re: Blu-Ray player or external drive?
I could be mistaken, but that USB port is probably for service technicians or for browsing through pictures (video too perhaps) on your TV. I'm assuming you have something like this and not something like this.
So yeah, you'll have to get a blu-ray drive (internal or external) for your computer to work with BD
