Sooo... I dun goofed and either didn't successfully flash or corrupted while flashing the rom I wanted for my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680. I was, however, careful enough to have backed up my original ROM, so I have that.
However, as I have a genuine Mac Pro (not a Hackintosh), I believe it is impossible for me to reflash on my system, and I want to confirm that the process is going to be as follows:
Find a PC with either integrated graphics or another card (I have three other cards).
Set the PC BIOS to force integrated or the other GPU (otherwise it won't post).
Reflash with NVFlash 64.
????
Profit.
I did this only because the intarwebs made it seem easy. But I don't actually NEED the boot screen options for the 680, it works fine without it. I just need to get the original ROM back on it, otherwise I have an expensive brick.

No, see, that is exactly what I did and screwed it up. I use dosdude1's stuff for all sorts of things. He didn't screw it up, I did, so unfortunately, this isn't helpful.Mol wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 6:03 amSounds fine, also mby this
