serious problem with WMM2

I just got Windows Movie Maker 2 with that xp winter fun pack and now wanted to do a AMV. I got all my movie clips there and i can add them to timeline yeah, but if i try to add an effect or transition or title then it just quits.

Would someone please tell me what's the problem with it!!!
Do i have to get a patch or smthing or is it the Winter Fun Pack's problem i dont know. PLEAAAAZE TELL MEEEE!!!!!!

hmmm, something crashing when you try to use it ? i had a problem a few days ago where everytime i rightclicked anything explorer would cause some error and have to restart. you see, windows tends to have alot of problems whenever you try using it. the only thing i can think of is to download all the patches and updates of microsoft.com (or whatever the hell thier website is)

Seriously it could be any number of things are you using Mpeg4 compressed files?Are you in need of a new computer?Do you need to Defrag your computer?Or restart your computer?Or go on a homocidal rampage at Microsoft HQ?(I know the answer to that one!)

wmm doesnt suck. its not a bad program (though it could do with a slightly beefier timeline) considering its free. thing is, windows sux

i duno but check the software list thread (its a sticky topic on one of the video forums). however you can get some realy amazing programs for about $100, like majix video deluxe 2.0 , which at around $90-$100 , its a steal (ya can probaly also get a student discount as well)

when u start to use vegas, wmm seems like a very bad program, though it is free.

then again, when you start using vegas then anything seems like a very bad program. but as we've both said, wmm is good enough considering its free (well, so is cinnerela, which is one sweet ass high end program [or so ive heard], sadly msot people darent used to linux). and wmm was only ever designed for "home videos" anyway
