Can't get Dvd uploaded!

I know ya'll hear this constantly, and my request is ultimatium bordom, but, I am having problems uploading my dvd onto my computer. I have a DvD-rom drive, but I can't get my programs to upload it. If you know of any programs that i have to have or if there is an easy procedure and i'm just retarded then I would greatly appreciate it! THanks for your time!

well, if you want you could just upload an anime dvd to the golden donut for people to download. it would make geting footage easier.
