Recording on your monitor

Does nayone know of any programs that can record what you're doing on your monitor? For example, if I was making a tutorial for Photoshop, is there a program that could record (in some video format) my mouse going to the effects and having the ffects happen and things of that nature?

google camstudio . its free. though ya have to register after 30 days. but thats free too.
