Looking For a new PC, Need Advice!

Ok, here are my two main choices (and it ATE my first attempt at this >.<)

I can either build a PC and be sure of each and every part I place into it (and I’ve done the research on it so far…so I kinda know a bit about what I’m getting into, but not fully…which is why I need the advice!) and be sure I get the exact unit I really want.

Or, I can go with an eBay auction which is similar to the PC I’m building.

So…which should I go with? And if I am to go with the custom setup, is what I have good? Should I go with different parts? Do I really need a 64 bit processor? I’m gonna be doing a lot of Video editing on it, but it’s also gonna be my new PC for everything else (Gaming, Internet, etc).

Ideas and Suggestions? I want a rig that will be good for both gaming, as well as Video editing…but mostly Video editing (Which means I’m willing to skimp on a Vid card for now to get a good vid system)
