Remember, that's shooting in 720p HD.

You'll have to specify which camera on that site. There are 16 digital camcorders listed.

Personally, I'm not a fan of Aiptek. Their cameras feel cheap and plastic-y. That being said, the GO-HD did get some positive feedback here (read post #12 specifically) and here. If you can, buy this from a merchant that has a generous return policy and try it out for a few days.

Their image stabilization (if the camera offers it) is not the smoothest and most of them don't have great battery life (tiny battery = short running time). Plus, I'm not a fan of the vertical "pistol-grip" style camcorders, regardless of manufacturer.

.. hmmm .. image stabilization .. not a subject often talked about; Sanyo & JVC are the best at this and its not even a subject that anyone even thinks about when buying a movie camera these days T_T
.. another area over looked is low-light motion blur; how accurate is your camera going to be when those pesky UFO's fly through the skies at night -- ok, that's not a fair subject yet could your camera capture those images without having a "Steady-Cam-Portable-Table" beneath it?

.. I'm not meaning to be a pest on this subject for I've seen way too many great captured moments destroyed from people being too nervous to take the picture!

-- just a thought 8-)
