the cheapest prices on PC components pretty much anywhere here in Australia. You can order for COD as well, including postage and handling and shit. Theyre a damn good shop. pretty much every one of my PC wise friends go there.

If those prices are indictive of "the Best Prices in Aussieland". I would be worried about you getting anything worthwhile for that price. The best I saw there was ti4200 for $189AU, w/o shipping.

You can get a Money Order and purchase from online stores that way. I did a brief lookup on Pricewatch for international shippers, I found Axion Tech, but they use wire transfer which costs a $35 US fee.

If you have a friend or proxy in the US, you can get a MSI Geforce4 ti4200 64MB DDR card for $74US shipped:

http://www.target-sale.com/tusa/items/v ... 03899.html

Then add $9US(I think) for a International MO:

http://www.auspost.com.au/IXP/0,1083,CH ... 19,00.html

Then about $24 for USPS International AirMail Parcel Post:

http://ircalc.usps.gov/speed.asp?Countr ... Contents=1

Total: $107US, $138.06AU

Ofcourse you would have to wait about two - three weeks for it to come... But... unless you find a sale, I doubt you're going to get a better deal... You might be able to eek out a 128MB card...

You could also just go for a Radeon 9200, that has DX8.1 shaders like the GF4 does, but that's about the only advantage. I didn't really notice a big speed increase going from a Geforce2 to a 9100(same core as the 9200). It does do shaders though... It's about on par with a Geforce3 ti200.

If you are looking at the 9600 pro, I would also suggest checking out a Geforce FX 5600 ultra. It should be in about the same price range. I just built a computer a few weeks ago. According to the benchmarks from www.tomshardware.com in the article about the Radion XT's and the Geforce fx 9500's (I may have some of the model's wrong, I can't remember, the highest-end cards) the Geforce FX 5600 ultra beat the 9600 pro in many tests.

I would advise against getting an old generation card like the geforce 4 ti200 ect. because they can't perform properly in all direct x 9 applications. If you are looking at a geforce, I would definitely dum the 4's and at least go for a low-end FX. I hope this can help :)

If it's going to be used for gaming, get a 9600XT/9700Pro/9800Pro. The 9700Pro is the best for mid-range priced gaming.

Don't get a Nvidia Geforce FX card. They suck. The low end Radeons beat out the middle-end FXs in 99% of benchs.

The FX line also has incomplete features such as FSAA and antioscopic, etc.

I'm sure that is why they are doing so well in business right now.

Most of that happens because of the element between the chair and the keyboard.
