Post by ritzbitz8 » Wed May 26, 2004 1:01 am

Is there any way to get a movie maker of some sort for my system? I can't seem to find one and I wanna make AMVS...

Either of these claim to work under Win98SE. They're about $100 each, but usually discounted.

Sony Screenblast Movie Studio

Ulead VideoStudio

Personally, I'd recommend the first one; its user interface is more like the mid to high end editing software like Premiere and Vegas. But I know people are using the Ulead software, too.

Make sure you're running 98SE (Second Edition), not the original release ("Gold" or whatever they called it).

Magix Movie Edit Pro also works with 98SE. Both Magix and Pinnacle Studio retail at $100.

I can sympathize.
I also have Win98, and if you're working with small amounts of footage, try ULead Studios 7. It's OK, but only works in 1024x768.
I can't give you a link, as I got mine from Kazaa, but they have a 30 day trial on their website, whcih should be long enough for at least 1 video...if you work non-stop for at least 2 weeks...
Still, if you want a REALLY good video editor, get XP and find Adobe somewhere. Extortionate but good. Very good.
