Anyhow, to answer your question, you need to do what bum said and read the guides further. In order to edit with the DVD footage, you need to use DVD2AVI and create a project file, which will convert it into an format that can be interpreted by other programs. Read the guides to get a better understanding of what to do, and what it does.

Meh, last time I tried ripping, my dvd contents got deleted <_<. Right now i'm trying to save dvd vobs in d2v, use avs to load in vdub, then save it as avi. Almost done...(found out i do have a video capture card) lol...
My comp is haywire!
