PS2 FMV ripping problem [New and needing some help please]

Post by Dragontrap » Mon Oct 11, 2004 8:46 pm

I've read thru the ENTIRE thread (And following the steps) on how to rip PS2 FMV's off of PS2 disks ( http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... hp?t=29514 ). Now I was wondering if anyone has tried to rip the files from the Jak and Daxter games and actually finding the .PSS files and having them extracted? I've been trying with Jak II and I can't find the files ><!! If someone can please help who has actually been able to pull this off I would be ever so greatful ^_^.

the problem with J&D is that there are no pss files, the whole game is processed through the in-game engine, so if you want the scenes you'll have to invest in a video capture card and a rather large HD.
