Plug the PS2 video/audio cable into your capture card, and capture via gameplay on PC monitor.Guardian4 wrote:How would I do that, exactly?
Hmm?will that work for DVDs as well?
If you want to rip regular DVD video, there's an easier way:

Exactamundo. Whatever you're playing on the PC, will be captured.Guardian4 wrote:Whatever you play is automatically captured?
Well basically, you need either a composite or a S-video cable[S-video cable will give better quality] to hook up to the capture card.[It's similar to hooking up to a TV.] When you've hooked up the PS2, you need to set the correct settings on the software the capture card came with, and then turn on the PS2. The game will appear on the PC monitor, and you can capture whatever you need.Or is there a setting, or what? I have a DC10++ capture card
Also, I do not know much about the DC10 capture card, but if it does not have a Video-In input, you can't capture the PS2 gameplay. Read the capture card's manual and its software's help files to learn how to capture once you've hooked up the PS2 to the PC.[Above^]

Re: ?
I have yet to hear of a PSS Plex for Mac. Even if the DVD ripping, ISO splitting, and file extracting suceeded[which is problaby hard enough to with a mac anyways], the demuxing of PSS Plex cannot be done. : |x0chiaki0x wrote:just one question. could a iMAC be able to do this?

Has anyone run into problems getting the FFX movies using FFX2MOV? I was able to rip the movies, but the No Better Plan video has problems. It seems to change size (the width) and distort momentarily at about 10-11 seconds into the footage. VDubMod and VDubMPEG see this as black squares on the right side of the frame while playing back. I tried 2 different copies of FFX (both NTSC US versions) and got the same result. Can anyone tell me how to fix this, or point me to where I can get the m2v video file as it comes ripped? (uncompressed, unedited, basically freshly ripped). Thanks for any help that anyone can provide!

I don't know the cause for the moment. [Who knows if it's the FFX2MOV, or the disc's format...]
If you really need it, I would go via capture.
Oh, the clip's size is not any error. Its just how it is. Same goes for No Other World and The Last Chapter.
