for most games i found it easier and more efficient to just do it the hex way since it is more accurate and won't jam like the nova way if you don't split the file right.....actually there is no splitting involved....jus open the iso and look for hex values....the guide specifically shows xenosaga but works with most games that have the movies in pss format

not necessarily make other ppl do your work....i already have the intro and secret ending using my improvise method....just find the vid [most likely gunna be low qual vid] on the net....then extract the audio and line it up with you video content that you ripped...and for the trailer opening i just used the passion instrumental straight off the sound track....
Hey, if you don't mind shitty quality audio go right ahead.

yes i sure do. Get Cubic Media Player 2
you can get The clips from a PS1 and a PS2 Disc all you have to do is:

1. Open Cubic Media Player
2. Click File=Scan Disc=Pick either Playstation or Playstation 2
3. Click Scan
4. And now you should have the FMVs + sound files from that game

(Optional)
5. If you want to multi-plex the audio and video (into one file instead of seperate) just use TMPGEnc Xpress (Trial) or for the free one TMPGEnc 2.1.8.757.4 (A trial too but you can still multi-plex (but in a MPEG 1 than a MPEG 2 format) after the trial has ended.

Hope that helps

P.S. To find Cubic Media Player 2 just click on the url below:

Or you could just save yourself the time and trouble of that and use one of the programs listed and linked in this stickied thread that you would of seen if you actually, you know, looked at the thread titles.

easy to understand (but outdated) guide...I suggest you read this first (just don't download anything in this guide)
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... th_dvd.pdf

once you understand that guide, try this next one (newer, undergoing revision, programs and techniques still pretty good) thhis one is harder to understand imo

if you do a good job and get a decent clip u cant really tell the difference...its like trying to hear the differnce in a mp3 192kbps and mp3 320kbps.....if ur ears are that sharp and picky.....then so be it...
