Ripping Footage from Funimation DVDs

I know this thread is pretty much dead but I figured I'd add something for future reference...
Actually, FMA does have two angles during the actual episodes, not just during the opening/closing sequences. The only difference between the two is the language of the text displayed on screen.
(For instance, there are credits displayed on screen during the first few minutes of the first episode. In one angle these are displayed in english, in the other, the original japanese if I'm not mistaken). Otherwise there is no real difference in the footage.
When I burned FMA, I used Angle one and it plays fine.
I don't know if all the recent Funimation DVD's use this same format but very likely.
