makes sense, but then even if you don't like what someone does isn't that just part of who they are, annoying? I want people to quit quoting from anime, ain't gonna happen, just let them be little morons posting in their "cool" way doesn't hurt...does it?

And it serves as an example for other people.

"What you (or anyone else) don't want" isn't the same as "what shouldn't be said in a public environment". Sure, people can be annoying in many ways, but that doesn't make them wrong, whereas sometimes they can be wrong even when they make a right point, because they made it in a rude manner. For example, I was right to call Nite-shade on writing in caps, but wrong to do that in caps and agressively like I did the first time. Conversely, saying "your mother is a female canine of poor breeding" instead of "you son of a bitch" is still wrong, but not at all rude (that is argueable, though).
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.

there are more ways to extract the videos other than the post that Gepetto wrote:
1) Use a capture card. If you can afford one, it beats the hell out of having to figure out a different method for ripping every game you want to use.

2) Try finding the FMVs for download on the internet. You can get them from You Tube. They will look ugly, however, so I advise against it.

Hex editing is the only thing that comes to mind other than capturing or dowloading.

So if you desperatly want those FMVs i suggest you learn and extract the videos off using an hex editior.

The easiest way to do this is to try and find the beginning and end offset points and extract it using a hex editor then demux it using PSS_demux. Ive managed to rip FFX-2 and FFXII AUS/UK/NZ using this method so i predict it will also work for Dirge of Cerberus.

Thank you all for the inputs and help, I could never do hex editor stuff, I just don't understand it at all. But I did find a nice person on another forum website that gave me the program to extract the FFVII:DOC videos, I'm so ecstatic. Thank you all though.

If you've got a Dirge of Cerberus fmv extractor that works on the US version of the game, I'd really appreciate it if you could upload it for the rest of us. I've always wanted to one of those. Unfortunately, I've only been able to find one that works with the Japanese version.

For you sayde and Nite-shade. I used cubemediaplayer to rip out DOC movies from both US and JAP versions without a problem. Oh well...

This thread has been active for over two months now o.o

hamid_honar, two other methods for extractring the FMVs were discussed in this thread. Did you try them? While it's very hard for people who have never done it before, HEX editing is the only foolproof method to extract anything you want from any PSX/PS2 game in existance.
