dvd decryptor guides

Post by ryohazuki222 » Sat Feb 07, 2004 4:15 pm

i dont have much experience ripping dvds. ive only had one semi-successful rip which was frm the cowboy bebop movie using easydivX, the video was ok, but there was no sound. i went out looking for a new ripper and got dvd decryptor, but the guides i find for it are not all that great.

can someone recommend a good guide or a better/easier ripping software? thanx

Hi, I recommend checking out AD & ErMaC's Technical Guides, which has a section on Ripping and Editing DVD Footage. It shows you how to use SmartRipper, which is one of the best DVD rippers out there. Also, there is a section on Using DVDs for Audio, which shows you how to extract audio (.ac3 files) from your DVD rips (vobs). :)

If you have a hard time understanding AD and Ermac's guide, i recommend you use my DVD Ripping Guide. If you have any questions about it, feel free to contact me :D
