Ripping FMVs on Macs?

Okay, don't shoot me if this has come up before *winces* however, although I know of plenty of programs which allow you to rip the FMVs off of PSX discs, they are all for PCs and Windows-based machines. I am, however, a lowly Mac-user, and have yet to come across any kind of similar program for Macs. Does any such program exist? I currently capture things through a long, drawn out process in which the quality often suffers, so it would be great if there was more of a direct way to go about it.
