device control problem...

Quick question, big problem. When I want to capture video, I keep getting this box that pops up. It says "The DV device is unavailable for device control." Is there a problem with my capture device or is there something that I can do about this? Thanks in advance for all your help.

What capture device are you using

what are u capturing from? if its analog u need to tell the program to stop looking for a DV device
