Description of Competition
Project Org Editor 2016 will be a online AMV competition split into 5 preliminary/ non-elimination rounds and 2 single-elimination rounds. There will be no registration deadline, and anyone can enter the competition at any point during the preliminary rounds. At the start of each round, a theme will be revealed and participants will have the option to either edit a video for that round or skip it. At the end of each round, the submitted videos will then be judged on the following criteria and scored: Editing (20), Concept (20), and Enjoyability (10). At the end of the preliminary rounds, the top 3 round totals from each participant will be tallied, and the 8 highest scoring editors will move on to the single-elimination finals and semifinals.

Specific Rules and Details
*Entrants may only join as an individual: MEPs or Collabs will not be accepted.
*To enter the competition, you must be a registered member of AnimeMusicVideos.org.
*Each participant will only be allowed to submit one video per round. Any entrant that attempts to submit multiple entries or register using multiple accounts will be disqualified.
*All AMVs entered into this contest must meet the A-M-V.org standards of uploading. Uploading to the site isn’t actually required, but if your video doesn’t meet these standards, it will not be accepted into the competition.
*The preliminary rounds will be held over 5 weeks (1 round per week).
*Each preliminary round will last exactly 7 days.
*Within 7 days of the end of each round, the judges will score all the submitted videos and post the round totals.
*Each preliminary round will start immediately after the previous round ends.
*There will be no preliminary round eliminations, and participants are allowed to enter as many or as few rounds as they choose.
*Participants are only required to edit for 3 of the 5 preliminary rounds to be eligible for the semifinals.
*Only a person’s top 3 preliminary round totals will be accepted regardless of how many rounds they participated in.
_____
*After the preliminary rounds are over, there will be a 1 week break, the top 3 round totals from each participant will be tallied, and everyone but the 8 highest scoring editors will be eliminated.
*After the preliminary round break, there will be an additional 2 rounds (Semifinals, and Finals).
*The top 4 participants from the semifinals will then be eligible for the final round.
*In the case of a tie at the end of either elimination round, the winner will be determined by their highest single round total from all previous rounds.

Submitting your video
The announcement thread for each round will contain instructions on how to submit your video. Since each round will also require specific information to accompany your entry, it is recommended that you read these instructions very carefully.

Note: At the end of each round, all the submitted videos will be made available to the public to stream on google drive. If you would like the download option to be disabled on your video and to only allow it to be streamed, please add this request to the body of your submission message. By default, all videos will be made available for download unless the editor specifically requests that it doesn't.

Editors also have the option to request that one of their videos be completely unavailable to the public, and only the judges will be able to view it. This option is only available during the preliminary rounds, can only be used once, and can not be changed to a different video (even if the editor chooses to remove the restriction on the previous one).

Prizes & Awards
*Prize support for this competition will be provided by MomoCon. The top 8 participants will each receive an award and a free 4-day pass to MomoCon 2017.

*The top 4 participants will each receive a prize pack consisting of numerous DVDs, Blu-rays, and various merchandise provided by Viz, Funimation, and Sega. The value of each prize pack will increase based on overall placement in the competition.

*Additional prize information will be announced as we get closer to the start of the Competition.
