Why is my video 694 MB? I use Adobe premiere v.6, and my video is only a little over 5 minutes long, saved as an .avi file, 30 fps, 320 x 240 view, yet its 694 MB after I exported it? What did I do wrong?

You can make the video smaller by running the 600 MB file through VirtualDub. Compress the file using a codec like DivX, it will make the file much smaller and don't forget to compress the audio as well.

Compression, also check the quality and size of the source footage file. Not to mention that AVIs can be rather large 90% of the time. Compress the size and quality if all else fails. Also the codecs.
