Problem with VirtualDub

Post by PopGenie » Thu Jul 25, 2002 10:04 am

Okay, gents and ladies, here's a problem I've got:

I have a large number of files (40) to encode in VirtualDub. I set up batch jobs, and ripped all the audio out to separate files for re-processing. I am using warpsharp and SmartSmoother v1.1 as filters for this old encode to look newer and cleaner.

When I start the batch job to encode these files, it gives me a message: "Cannot load Sylia scripting language (Sylia.DLL): The specified module cannot be found."

I am using VirtualDub 1.4.10 release build (13780) on Windows XP Professional, Duron 1200 MHz processor, 512MB of PC133.

Let me know if you have ideas that can possibly fix this problem.

Do you have sylia.dll in your virtualdub directory?

If it is there then try re-extracting it, possibly it's corrupted.

hmmm, a few of the 1.4.X's that I have are missing that file too!

the good news is that it came with the 1.3a & 1.3b versions - find them :D

Actually, I re-downloaded 1.4.10 release build and it had the proper files in it. The original came off a burned CD that was made some time ago, not long after release of the program. Things are working great now and progress is steady! Thanks again for your input.
