Removing Subtitles

hey guys! quick & dumb question: how can i remove subtitles from my AMVs? i thought i read how to do it in these forums but i can't remember where i read it. any ideas?

ok i read the "removing subtitles" guide on the site, and i was wanting to use premiere to just crop them out. i feel so stupid, but how do you get to the section that lets you crop? i looked at everything and can't figure it out. help!

You can zoom in or stretch the video so the subs are outside of the viewable area using the motion controls if you want to do it in Premiere.
