Video Capture Software
I'm curious if anyone here knows of any video capture software available as freeware or shareware. I don't have $200+ to spend on decent software that does everything in one (in fact I've gone for the default with the Windows Movie Maker 2). Unfortunately, I don't know anything about video capture, and it seems silly to set up my digital camera to film something playing on my computer's DVD Drive.
I did attempt to use Windows Media Player, but while that has the ability to copy CDs to the computer, it does not have that ability with DVDs (as far as I could tell).

Hey there skipper! It sounds like you're trying to capture footage from a DVD! Try reading the guides off the main 'org page!
