Another Dumb NoOB Question.

Post by WiccanBattleCat » Tue Jun 10, 2003 3:08 am

Okay I probably deserve to be slapped for asking this question, BUT I'm gonna ask anyway.

Is there any way to rip Gamecube games?
I don't have a cap card so ripping the game or *eck* downloading footage are my only choices here.

Okay, if it's not impossible do you know how one should go about doing it?

Ppl really don't pay attention do they?*sigh* Thanks for the info, but I was only asking if there was a way to rip the games. I'm not an idiot, I know I could use a cap card if I had one or was willing to spend money on one. What I wanted to know is if there was software out there that I could use to rip the games.

Oh well, thanks for taking the time to reply to this thread Zarxrax. I do appreciate it.

I'm just a bit frusterated is all. Please don't take any of my harsh language personally.

I think Zarx answered your question the first time...
Ask me about my secret stash of videos that can't be found anywhere anymore.

Oh god, you're right, I read it wrong, fatigue induced dyslexia must be setting in, I feel like such an ass now. Oh well, just forget everything I said. *runs off to go slap herself a few times*

aren't gamecube games a rendition of the 3 inch dvd? If so it should be possible to rip ISOs, although I doubt there would be any way to render them in an emulator or burn them onto a dvd-r that you could play in a gamecube, so I suppose it's moot.

Tab: I believe they can't be ripped because of the way data is stored on them. Last I heard, data is read from the outside in, and it spins backwards.
