You can extract FFX movies with a tool called FFX Movie Extractor. Get it in the Download section of http://www.alucard.cc in PS2 tools and in the extractor/rebuilder category.
I never used it. But they say it works. If you get files which are not pc media file. Try using this tool http://www.megagames.com/ps2/ps2_utils_graphics.shtml, the one named pss plex, to convert them.
For FFIX I would recommend trying Psxmc or PSmplay avalable at http://www.geocities.com/crazybleem/Emutools.htm. Can't help you more about this because I never extracted any PS1 movies. But they say that for FF9 PSX Multi Converter is the one. Get the english version here http://www.rpgplanet.com/ff9/psx.shtml Even though Psxmc is supposed to be an extractor made especially for FF9. I never heard of it anywhere else than the site where I said you can get it. I think you need winaspi32.dll for PSX Multi Converter get it here http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-f ... ?winaspi32

If you think about what you tought you knew then you know what you think you thought you knew but you think you don't and If you think about what you thought you knew, then you think you don't know what you thought you knew but you do.
Think about it! If you can't understand my sig, don't you say nothing about my spelling!
