IMAC Imovie trouble....

Anyone have any suggestions. I think the problem is the quicktime pro but I need the program for the project.

This is very confusing.

Run Software Update. Don't argue, just do it. I guarentee that there will at least be a new QuickTime update (up to version 6.4) and there might even be an iMovie update. Once you have done that play with iMovie and see how it goes. If it then continues to have problems post.

Ummm now here we go with another problem Red Wolf.
My computer can not use the internet, It has not registered for it.
I have been posting here Via my mother's older Imac.

I downloaded and transfered the Imovie 3.0.3 and it still unexpectedly quits and I as well as theQT 6.4 downloads and QT6.4 keeps on telling me that It cannot be installed.

Anyone? I am so confused.

Okay now this is bizzare, do any of the Mac users here know how to work Imovie 2.0.1?

I solved my problem of Imovie quitting by removing it and taking a copy of the older version from my mom's Imac 0SX that computer has not been updated since Jauguar and my mother refuses to have it updated.

well now the older Imovie will not quit but From what I can see It does not work with Itunes like Imovie 3 does. I was planning on using a CD anyway so that does not matter.

Still this version is different then the one in Red Wolf's guide and now it has become a little more complicated. Anyone here ever use that older version and still know how it works?

I really need to fingure it out. I have played with it for the last 7 hours and still am clueless.

I still would like to know if someone can fix my quicktime pro problem as well, but it seems to be just a nuisence.

If you forgot about it here it is again. On both mine and my mother's computer we had placed quicktime 6.3 then when she finally got pro for me and we realize my compy would not register it we deleted it from my compy registered it onto her compy and well though we started with the 6.3 on hers with the key it became QT pro 6 instead of QT pro 6.3 and well that annoys me since the newer Imovie needs the newer QT. that is why it was crashing . (I think anyway). Is there a way to fix my Pro problem and make it the 6.3 pro that it is supposed to be?

I hate regressing programs, I would rather have the program progress to what it is supposed to be so that I could use the better system instead of this bizzare older one that I am currently experimenting on.

Someone please help me.
