Re: vobs
Use avisynth. Much better, both for quality and compatibility, unless you're one of these poor souls (like me) who were suckered in by Premiere Pro 7.0 only to find it has no AVS support. DivX is notorious for causing Premiere to burst into flames, eat its own young and commit violent suicide. Well, maybe not that bad, but it makes Premiere shut down more often than not.paskovich wrote:Hi. I’m using Flask, to turn my VOB s to a video file for editing ( DivX codec). But it takes sooooooo long. Is there a faster program out there? Flask is a free program!!! Is there a faster freebie out there?
Anyway, thats all in the guides that klink pointed you to.

First: it's Premiere Pro. It has no version number in it.SS5_Majin_Bebi wrote:Use avisynth. Much better, both for quality and compatibility, unless you're one of these poor souls (like me) who were suckered in by Premiere Pro 7.0 only to find it has no AVS support.
Second: why don't you just get the plugin? Or, if that doesn't work, the temporary fix version that's linked to in the relevant sticky on this board.
Not only all that, but editing with DivX/XviD in Premiere is also not frame-accurate.SS5_Majin_Bebi wrote:DivX is notorious for causing Premiere to burst into flames, eat its own young and commit violent suicide. Well, maybe not that bad, but it makes Premiere shut down more often than not.

Re: vobs
Well, if you don't, then you get all kinds of ugly-lookin' green garbage in your frames until a keyframe does come along. At least in 5.1.Tab. wrote:You sure about that?
