Mac friendly AMVs [problem playing AMVs]
Oh well I wasn't sure where to put this...But where can i get some AMVs that will play on a mac computer cause i try to download them but they never seem to work...so can someone help me?? please? Private message me about this to if u wanna!

arnt there codeks that let you use dvix om mac? i wouldnt think it would be that different from a pc... theres probably something you could do... i donno, i don't usually use mac, so i cant help much

The thing is you probably don't have the right codecs. Go to divx.com and dl the free version of divx and you should be able to watch it. There isn't any difference in the types of computers that would not let you watch them. So just dl a bunch of codecs and if it doesn't work throw your Mac out the window and buy a pc! They are better anyways.

Ah, I know what you mean...
When I converted to mac last year, I had a heck of a time trying to find the right codecs to play amvs and such. Luckily, I found a program that will play any divx based avi file on mac. It even plays mpeg1/2 files, and a crapload more. It's called VideoLan.

This is such a crappy argument. The only reason macs are Difficult to you is because you have to take the time to learn one (not to mention the fact that everyone has grown up on pcs). All caveats aside, they are pretty much the same, save the vast difference in game software...
