Are you the only person who hasn't pirated it?

While we're on the subject of stability, I've run three Cinelerra sessions for 2 weeks straight now, running each through complex rendering tasks every now and then when I get some time to play around. They haven't crashed yet.

anyway back on topic --

link_jaf -- if you want a Windows Movie Maker-like editor, you might investigate stuff like Ulead VideoStudio or Pinnacle Studio.

I've been using Premiere Pro for the past 4 days and it hasn't crashed once.
Ask me about my secret stash of videos that can't be found anywhere anymore.

Actually, my experience has told me that Premiere 6 has the sync problems, not Pro.

While we're going with the uptime-penis-size contests I'd just like to point out that FCP has run on my iBook with no issues for as long as the system has been up (4wk uptime) with no problems.

So Adobe doesn't want to put Premiere out for MacOS? We don't need 'em anyway. :D
If it doesn't get me drunk, explode, or have breasts, I'm not interested.

well, i had some sync proplems, the first time i ever touched premier6 , though after that it was prety smooth sailing. for some time i would use it as an encoding tool to back up my dvd's , after id created the avi and ac3 files with dvd2avi , and i had no problems with sync whatsoever, but when a freind rings me up after a day of using the trial to bitch about all of premier pro's sound problems, then well, that seems kinda serios
