Is there a faster way to export clips from Premiere 6.5. I'm exporting as avi is there a faster way?

Thanks

The only one I can think of is exporting with a crapier codec. What codec are you using? More details would be nice.

If you're using huffy then it's going to be slow as hell. If it's a presentation I'm going to assume you want it to look nice though...which means lame ass resolution might not be good. So you're probably up shit creek without a paddle.

If you don't care about the resolution use the divx codec 5.11 and set things as crappeh. It should be wayyyy smaller. I think you might be able to resize it through the settings also which will also speed things up. How big do you need it?

I'm not using a codec at all, I'm was taking about the compressor within the program Planar RGB. I used keyframes and saved as .mov which sped up the process abit more. I'm not working on a comp that has all of my codec data on it.
