Tips on editing VOBs natively in Vegas 5?
I just got access to a copy of Vegas 5.0, after only using Premiere in the past, and was astounded to learn that Vegas can edit straight VOB footage. This boggles my mind. So as I start to learn Vegas, is there anyone who can give me some simple tips on how I can get the best results out of using the VOBs? I appreciate any suggestions.

Okay, so I've gotten the VOB converted into an uncompressed, progressive AVI at 23.976 fps. (One episode of Cowboy Bebop is 29.1 gigs, but that's neither here nor there.) Now, I know that Premiere can't edit in 23.976 fps, but apparently Vegas can. It's right there in the settings. Am I good to go, or is this also too good to be true?
