I personally use DVD Decrypter.
You can find more DVD rippers as well as other programs at Doom9.org. Just click the 'Download' icon on the left and then scroll down.

Um... you do realize that SmartRipper and DVD Decrypter give you full ripping functionality for much less (read: FREE), right?Ultimagamemasta wrote:I say the DVD to MPEG Ripper thingie is the best

but he does have a point to it, SmartRipper and Decrypter and such are usefull. but they ruin the movie footage and MAX DVD to MPEG fixes all of that. Plus to just get the movie and watch it is great so you never have to re-rent a movie from blockbuster again!

Okay, I'm not usually like this around here, but this time I can't help it...ArtingtonInc wrote:but he does have a point to it, SmartRipper and Decrypter and such are usefull. but they ruin the movie footage and MAX DVD to MPEG fixes all of that.
Last I checked, SmartRipper and DVD Decrypter didn't touch the video streams of the VOBs they rip... and you can set them to also include the audio and subtitle tracks if you want.
How this constitutes "ruining" the footage, I'd love to know.
